Repairing signage

During the year 2021, we have finished placing all the signs and vertical signage along the Camí d'Andorra, as well as reviewing some horizontal signs with the blue and yellow colors of the road.

Now, in the months of 2022, we have to go through all the signs and signals as well as clear again the parts where the bushes that make it difficult to walk have grown the most.

Last Saturday, April 9, we began this work of maintaining the road by reviewing the section that goes from the church of Pallerols to the Saint Raphael Cabin.

The volunteers were: Paco Penella, Josep Maria Vila, Octavi Quintana, Daniel Macià, Jordi Pérez, Octavio Rico, Ramon Camats, José Juan Crespo and Jordi Piferrer.

The attached photos show the condition of some of the signs before and after the restoration. We also removed some stones on the access road to the Cabana de Sant Rafel.

At the end of the work, a good “paella”. Our friend Agustí has been added to celebrate his birthday. The photograph is taken by Octavio Rico and is missing Josep Maria Vila, who must be in the rectory looking for something

All in all, the road from Pallerols Church to the Saint Raphael Cabin is now clean and well signposted.

We ended up having lunch next to the rectory of Pallerols with a good paella prepared by José Juan.

The next outing will be on May 14, as always coinciding with the second Saturday of each month. Come with us!
